There will no morning service in St Martin’s BUT
at 4pm, there will be a ‘Round the Font’ Mothering Sunday service for all ages

Removing saplings growing where we do not want them

Cutting back ‘turf’ where it is encroaching on surfaces paths

Please bring your own gloves and any gardening tools which you think might be helpful

Sat 1^st Mar 2025 – 10am – noon Churchyard clear up  – please help if you are able.
The Parish Council has prepared the following message:
We are asking for volunteers to help with a bit of a tidy up at St. Martin’s Churchyard on Saturday 1st March. As a ‘closed churchyard’ it is the Parish’s responsibility to maintain it but the Parochial Church Council kindly do the day to day maintenance. Every now and again, we need to do work such as clearing ivy off of graves and away from some sections of wall and have a general tidy up to ensure that nothing deteriorates, being mindful of wildlife along the way.

If you can spare any time from 10.00am on Saturday 1st March to pop along to the Church then that would be much appreciated. We won’t go on beyond 12 noon.
Please bring your own gloves and any gardening tools which you think might be helpful (secateurs, shears etc).
