Sunday 30th January 2022

The recorded service this week is led by Rev Peter Marsh

There will be the usual 9.30 Matins at St Martin’s. This will be followed, at St Mary’s in Wotton, by a benefice communion service  at 11am in which we will say farewell to Rev Rachel Cook (Cookie) and hear about the agreed outcome of the consultation process and our aims for the future. Please do come if you can.

Next Week – Sunday 6th February –  The service in church at 9.30am will be a service of the Word

Churches Together will be holding:
–  a pancakes and ploughman’s supper on Tuesday 1st March. Please see the poster for details and how to obtain tickets for eat in or takeaway.
–  a series of 4 discussions during Lent around the Chronicles of Narnia by C S Lewis – do they have a deeper meaning or are they just children’s stories? Monday evenings at 7pm in the chapel starting on 7th March 2022 with each ending at 8.30pm.

Sadly, we are still having to insist that face coverings are worn when in church and we are be back to using alternate pews in order to try and keep us all safe.
