Sunday 21st September 2025. 9.30am. There will be a non-communion harvest service in church led by Rev Peter Marsh. This will be a Churches Together service in conjunction with the chapel.

• There will not be a service in St Martin’s – but there will be a concert…
• At 3pm in St Martins, there will be a concert by the Palm Court Trio – ‘Tunes you can hum’. Refreshments will be available

There was a request for the actions from the recent service focusing on the environment:

1. We must never forget that the earth is God’s creation.
2. We each have a responsibility of human stewardship.
3. We need to be more reverent to God and ask him what we could be doing that we aren’t – how can we do better?
4. We need to personally stop exploitation. And that begins with us…

And, by drawing on biblical principles, we should be able to approach the challenge of environmental care with

1  Wisdom,
2  Humility,
3  A deep sense of responsibility and duty.
